EUROPEAN CHEESE QUALITY
The “EU Dairy: Integrated Supply Chain & High-Quality USA,” or European Cheese Quality, is a three-year information and promotion program co-financed by the European Union under Regulation (EU) No. 1144/2014 – Call AGRIP SIMPLE 2024 TC AMERICAS, set to run from 2025 to 2027.
Promoted by Granlatte, the largest milk producers’ cooperative in Italy, that controls Granarolo S.p.A., the most important Italian dairy company, the project aims to showcase and raise awareness among U.S. audiences of the excellence of European dairy products, with a specific focus on Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) cheeses, other aged European cheeses under the brands Granarolo, Amalattea, Costa, Pinzani and Podda, including Quattrocento, goat cheese, sheep cheese, mixed cow/sheep cheese, and also UHT mascarpone, and cheese snacks.
At the heart of the campaign is the goal of educating American consumers about the core values of the European Union’s agricultural policy: strict standards on food safety, traceability, accurate labeling, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability. These pillars are complemented by a celebration of the flavor, diversity, and artisanal heritage that make European dairy products truly unique.
